Bookkeeping · Reporting · Financial Guidance
From bookkeeping and payroll to reporting and financial guidance, we help business owners understand where they stand and what comes next.
What We Offer
Your books should help you make decisions. We build the financial infrastructure that makes that possible — accurate records paired with clear reporting and dashboards that show you where the business actually stands.
Accurate records, reconciled monthly — so your numbers are current, your CPA isn't cleaning up at year-end, and you always know where you stand.
Finance is operational. We turn your books into clear reporting and dashboards — then interpret what they're telling you about cash, margin, and risk so you can act with confidence.
Handled end-to-end, on time, and fully compliant — so payroll is one less operational variable you're managing.
Why Granite Point
Finance is operational. We connect your books to your decisions, your cash position to your next move, and your monthly reports to the things that actually drive your business.
We surface what the numbers mean for your cash, your operations, and your decisions — before you have to ask.
We've worked with businesses from early-stage to established mid-market across a wide range of industries and operating models.
Clean books are important, but understanding cash flow, profitability, and trends is what drives better decisions.
Start with bookkeeping. Layer in CFO services as you grow. No switching firms, no starting over, no losing context.

About
I started Granite Point Advisory after spending nearly a decade helping businesses make important financial decisions through investment banking, corporate development, financial planning, and strategic finance roles.
Throughout my career, I saw the same problem repeatedly: business owners were working incredibly hard but often lacked clear, reliable financial information to guide decisions. Without accurate books and meaningful reporting, even great businesses can end up operating on instinct rather than insight.
Today, I work directly with business owners to keep their finances organized, provide clear reporting, and help them better understand the numbers behind their business. My goal is simple: give owners the financial clarity they need to make confident decisions and focus on growth.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me cycling, spending time with family, or preparing for the arrival of my first child.

Bookkeeping is the foundation — keeping your records accurate, reconciling accounts, categorizing transactions, and producing monthly financials. A Fractional CFO is the strategic layer on top: interpreting those numbers, building forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities, and helping you make better high-level decisions. Many clients start with bookkeeping and layer in CFO services as their business grows.
Pricing is based on your transaction volume, number of accounts, and which services you need. We provide flat monthly rates — no hourly billing, no surprise invoices. After a free discovery call, you'll receive a clear proposal tailored to your business before you commit to anything.
It doesn't matter how far behind you are — whether it's a few months or several years, this is one of the most common situations we step into. We offer catch-up and cleanup bookkeeping to get your records current before transitioning to ongoing service. We'll assess the scope during your discovery call and give you a transparent quote for the catch-up work upfront.
Yes. We regularly rebuild and reconcile prior-year books — re-categorizing transactions, fixing reconciliation gaps, and producing clean, tax-ready financials. Once your historical records are accurate, we transition you onto a steady monthly process so you stay current going forward.
Absolutely — and we encourage it. We complement your CPA, not replace them. We handle day-to-day financial operations and produce clean records that make tax season smoother and less expensive for both you and your preparer. We coordinate directly with your CPA as needed throughout the year.
To get started, we typically need view access to your bank and credit card accounts, your accounting system, and payroll (if applicable), along with a quick conversation about how your business operates. We guide you through exactly what's needed during onboarding — the process is designed to require minimal lift from you.
At minimum, you'll receive monthly financial statements and a summary from your dedicated contact. Clients on Growth and Fractional CFO plans also receive a monthly strategy call. Beyond scheduled touchpoints, we're accessible by email throughout the month and respond within one business day — usually faster.
Once you sign on, we connect to your accounting system, conduct a thorough review of your books, and get everything organized — typically within the first week. You'll have a dedicated contact from day one and a clear picture of your financials before the end of your first month. The process is designed to require minimal lift from you.
